DonnE's Cooking  Pg 2

DonnE started catering in 1974 until 1991. People wanted more than just catering, they wanted to eat DonnE's cooking any day of the week. In 1991 he opened "DonnE's Cooking", and the rest is on going history. The restaurant is a 7 day a week, on going project with catering on the side. DonnE is amazing, on a Saturday night with the restaurant in full swing, packed to the rafters, he has also prepared a catering job, out of the same kitchen for some 200 to 400 people at a different location. Oh, and let me tell you, we are not talking about a chef's "to die for kitchen", we are talking, small, compact, and very efficient and the hottest place I've ever been. I bow to the dedicated cooks he has in that kitchen, they are truly devoted, enthusiastic, and very committed to their art. Oh, and he also makes bar-b-que sauce & seasoning to sell. Grass does not grow under DonnE's feet. He loves seeing smiles of satisfaction on faces that have enjoyed his cooking. It is his reason for keeping the hours he keeps and pushing on when there isn't much energy left, a satisfied customer is all it takes.


This is the view from the front door to your right. And that is my good friend DonnE enjoying a quiet moment, and those my friend, are rare.
