"Mahn sha, we pass a good time this morning, huhn!" Raymond Vincent and I spent a fun filled morning cooking "Pain Perdue" (French Toast, Lost Bread). Raymond and I met some years back at the hospital. He was the Chief of Respiratory Care and I was a Ward Clerk on the Med-Surg floor. I worked the night shift so I got to know everyone pretty well. He has since retired.
He encourages his wife Debbie in her business of antiques, computers, cooking and cookbooks.
Our lives touched again through the world of computers and the rest is recent history. Every time Raymond and I got together, we would start on the subject of computers, but it always ended on food.
While he was putting his cookbook together we would compare cooking techniques and recipes. It was only natural that he and I would do cooking demos together and bring you a new slant on the old and a
old slant on what's new in our cooking world.
I Hope this will be the first of many times you will get to enjoy Raymond's cooking expertise and his delicious recipes. I've included his
e-mail address and his wife's address and web URL so you can order
"Bon Cuisine". It is truly a cookbook of the deep south and the foods of the region.
