Sherry is a cousin of mine. Her Dad and I are first cousins. Sherry is a Wife (to Larry), Mom, teachers aide, great daughter, wonderful cook and baker and one of the sweetest women you would ever want to meet. She is the Mom of two busy boys, Chris 14 and Andy 12. They have kept her hopping all summer long. She is always on the go on one project (remodeling their home) or another. Sweet Dough Fig Tarts
1 c. Margarine (softened not melted)
2 1/2 c. Sugar
3 Eggs
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 c. Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 c. Flour + 3 tsp. Baking Powder mixed together
1 1/2 to 2 qt. Preserved Figs or other filling
"Let the dough roll!" Assemble all your ingredients, measured and ready to use.
