GREEN PEAS

Anyone can do peas out of a can, but if you want to really impress with peas out of a can, just follow the directions, and you will not be disappointed.

2 cans Petit Pois Peas
1/4 lb. Margarine
1 lg. Onion (cleaned & cut in half & sliced thin)
1 T. Sugar
1 tsp. Black Pepper

Melt margarine in 1 quart sauce pan, add onions and wilt until translucent. Add the peas, sugar and pepper and let simmer, mashing a few peas to make the sauce thick. Let simmer until sauce has thickened. Serve and take your bows.
