This is another one of those recipes that I adapted for health reasons, but it is so good, you wouldn't want to change it back to unhealthy.
½ c. Hot Water
1 T. Chicken Granules
1 c. Fresh Bread Crumbs
1 ½ lb. Lean Ground Beef or Turkey
1 med. Onion (finely chopped)
2 Celery Ribs (finely chopped)
1 sm. Bell Pepper (finely chopped)
¼ c. Parsley (finely chopped)
1 ½ T. Tony Chachere's Seasoning
2 Egg Whites (slightly beaten)
1/3 c. Ketchup
In a large bowl put chicken granules in hot water to dissolve. Add bread crumbs and mix well. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. In a 9"x5"x3" loaf pan sprayed with oil, put the meat mixture and pat evenly in pan. Bake at 350°, uncovered for 45 to 60 minutes or until done in center.
