1.5 lb. White Bark
1 lb. Hard Peppermint Candies (Very finely crushed)
Melt bark according to package directions.
DO NOT OVER MELT
Mix the crushed peppermints in the bark & mix well. Drop by teaspoonful on wax paper.
NOTE: I use two heavy duty zip lok bags (one
inside the other) to crush the candies. Remove all the
wrappers and put candy in the first zip lock bag and get as much
of the air our as possible. I then put that bag in the other
bag and repeat procedure. Using two bags like this prevents
the candy from flying out if the inner bag develops a hole.
Put on a cutting board and hit with a heavy metal spoon to crush
the candies. Good way to take our frustrations.
