PEPPER JELLY

Any body out there grow jalapeno peppers? This is my favorite jelly, you can put it on anything and it tastes great, even fried eggs.

6 ½ c. Sugar
1 ½ c. Apple Cider vinegar
1 c. Red & Green Bell Pepper (minced very fine)
½ c. Jalapeno Pepper (minced very fine)
1 pkg. Certo Liquid (2 pouches)
2 to 4 drops Red or Green Food Color

Put the sugar and vinegar in a 6 quart pot and add all ingredients except for Certo and food color. Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes.

Skim off the foam and add Certo and food color, and stir well.

Makes about 3 pints or 6 half pints.
