THE BISCUIT RECIPE

Twin Nunez

This recipe hails from Creole, LA and a lovely lady I met one afternoon through a common friend. She is a gracious hostess and willing to share her recipes. Since she gave me this recipe, I've not used any other recipe for biscuits. I don't have any this easy or for that matter any better.

1 c. Sour Cream
! c. Club Soda
4 c. Pioneer Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
1 stick Margarine (melted)

Mix the sour cream, club soda and biscuit mix.

Roll out on a lightly floured surface.

Cut in biscuit size pieces (round cookie cutter, or a water glass just the right size.

Dip each biscuit in the melted margarine and place in a baking pan. Pour whatever butter is left over the biscuits in the pan.

Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
