Vee's Tea

Vee Guidry

Ever drank the most perfect glass of brewed tea? I have and it is soooooo good! Now, I might add that you have to like a strong tea, not any of that weak slightly colored water stuff. Vee has it down to an art. Oh, this is my sister by the way. She is the brains in the family and I am the beauty!

1 gal. Pitcher
8 Family Size Lipton Tea Bags (Caf or Decaf)
2 c. Sugar

Boil about 4 cups of water in a container that has a lid.
DON'T NUKE THIS, DO ON TOP OF STOVE!
When water boils put in tea bags, cut the fire to a simmer, put on lid and time. 6 MINUTES. At the end of this time turn burner off and time for 12 MINUTES. Remove tea bags, squeeze to get all the juice out of them. Pour this dark liquid in the one gallon pitcher and add 2 cups of sugar, stir, finish filling with cold water and serve over ice. Sit back, sip, and let the world pass you by verrrrry slowly.
